The Opportunity;
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Northern Powergrid's People team as HR Operations Manager. Working with and on behalf of colleagues business wide you are pivotal in enabling colleague and business success.

Working with the Head of HR Operations you will lead a dedicated team in delivering an exceptional quality of service.

HR Operations is the engine room of the people team and also provides first line advice and guidance on ER matters.

Significant resourceis dedicated to technology making things, quicker, easier and better.
There is the opportunity to make a significant impact in the continuous improvement of systems and processes through technology.

What we are looking for;

  • Generalist HR experience with knowledge of employment law and managing ER issues
  • Strong people management background
  • Experience of continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Structured in approach with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
  • You set high standards, leading by example, enabling and motivating your team a real team player
  • Resilient

Northern Powergrid owns and operates the network that distributes electricity to homes and businesses across the North East, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire.

As part of Berkshire Hathaway Energy (BHE), the energy division of a US owned multinational conglomerate, Northern Powergrid is now embarking on a Digital Transformation which will modernise their systems and processes and enable them to satisfy the needs ofcustomers and stakeholders whilst streamlining the employee experience.
