Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised, motivated, out-going Junior Coordinator with prior experience of managing a team, to join our school in Canterbury.


Role Description


The role of the Junior Coordinator is to organise activities for junior bookings and adult group bookings; to manage the Activity Leaders; to conduct risk assessments as and when required for new activities; and to ensure the smooth organisation and operation of all social activities.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the team of Activity Leaders.
  • Allocating activity leaders to the right activities based on their experience and the ratio of activity leaders to students.
  • Prepare activity timetables for group bookings in conjunction with agents/group leaders.
  • Sourcing new activities and conducting risk assessments. Printing general and specific risk assessments for all activities and providing to Group Leaders.
  • Arrange travel requirements for group activities.
  • Prepare information packs for activity leaders.
  • Training of activity leaders or arranging training such as First Aid
  • Induction of new activity leaders.
  • Provide feedback forms for activities and collate the responses so that the feedback can be reviewed and adjustments made to future activities as required.
  • Assist with the recruitment of activity leaders.
  • Observe the activity leaders when they are on activities and provide feedback on their conduct & performance.
  • Maintain a register of clothing & equipment issued to activity leaders.
  • Performance of any other duties which may reasonably be required related to activities.
  • Attendance at staff training sessions to be announced with due warning.
  • Keeping the Director of Studies and/or the Director informed of any offsite CPD training sessions you wish to attend. The same applies to training sessions that might overlap with work duties.
  • Being familiar with and following all LanguageUK Prevent and safeguarding policies for under 18s.
  • Complying with GDPR procedures where applicable.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and provide two references.


Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour
