**Primary Teacher

_Teaching Personnel in partnership with a specialist provision in the Blackburn area are looking to hire a fully qualified teacher to work in their specialist provision. You will need to be fully qualified and have experience working in a specialistprovision or teaching pupils with special educational needs, as differentiating planning, and meeting individual needs is a requirement of this role._
The role


The role is available on a full-time basis due to a scheduled absence therefore the successful applicant will be required 13th February 2023 on a temp to perm contract (the exact date is not yet confirmed).

Your role, as the class teacher will need to incorporateyour pupil's intervention sessions into your planning and teaching, making sure your having daily contact with the intervention support staff to ensure consistency and that you are all following the same structures and strategies.

Within this provision, thereis adequate support in place, especially for pupils who require 1:1 support in class.

Teachers are required to be able to differentiate their planning and teaching to meet the needs of their pupils, you will be required to have previous experience of differentiationto take on this role, as your planning and teaching from the beginning of the cover will need to be done to meet all pupils' different individual needs at the same time as meeting their educational age related targets of the curriculum.

You will need to beable to support your pupils personally as well as in their learning, some pupils may require personal care and additional nurturing from yourself.

The provision

This is a primary provision catering for pupils aged 4-16 who all require additional support.

All pupils will have an EHC / IEP plan, these plans will need to be followed throughout their days at the provision both in their learning and their overall developmentalintervention sessions.

The provision provides its pupils with many intervention sessions to support their needs, safeguarding is paramount in this provision due to the age and vulnerability of their pupils, having up to date safeguarding is a requirement.

This provision is based in the WN8 area, if you are not local to the area being able to drive is desirable as you will be needed to get to the school for different times and earlier than on a day-to-day supply basis meaning cancellations of public transportcould be detrimental to the development and routine of your pupils if you are late or not able to arrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
