Grays, Essex

£ £28000

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

My client, a professional, successful and well established construction company based in Grays, is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy and growing team on a permanent basis.


You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in smooth running of Purchase Ledger function
  • Inputting invoices and credits, allocating correctly
  • Balance statements with accounts at month end and resolving any differences
  • Opening new accounts in our system, providing requested information and ensuring payment terms agreed
  • Preparing month end reports
  • Chasing depots for paperwork
  • Constructing and processing journals as required
  • Chasing queries and credit notes
  • Assisting with fleet and invoice queries
  • Assisting auditors
