Description

Do you have a working knowledge of property repairs and excellent customer skills?


In this role within Longhurst Group this is your opportunity to take responsibility for leading a team who deliver responsive repairs and voids to our homes with a focus on managing inbound complaints.

You will have responsibility for managing our repairs contractors in ensuring the delivery of a customer focussed, effective and value for money service, reflecting the highest standards of service excellence


With each day being different your work will directly contribute to improving the lives of our customers by ensuring our contracted works are completed on time and within budget constraints.

You will work closely with our housing lettings team to ensure voids are completed on time and meet our quality standards.

You will work closely with our customer services team to provide technical advice and assist with complaint resolution.


You'll need to be a confident communicator as you work with these multiple stakeholders within the Group as well as liaising externally too with our contractors and customers.

This role will require an ability to deliver a responsive service to our customers whereby you will need to be confident in dealing with a varied and complex caseload.


This visible role within the Group will also require you to lead by example, motivate and inspire your team's performance and help to shape our consistent service standards, policies and procedures.
