    Design and Engineering Team

    We dedicate ourselves to creating innovative and sustainable design solutions that set new industry standards. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work as a Technical/Design & Engineering consultant, referred to internally as a Pavement Engineer.

    Your Role

    You'll put your stakeholder management and design skills to great use. You will provide engineering and design solutions within the specialist area of Pavement Engineering.

    You'll work closely with external sales teams, becoming the 'go-to' for technical design advice. With fantastic communication skills, you'll confidently deliver information to a wide range of customers and internal stakeholders, including landscape architects, consultant engineers, main contractor design teams, local authorities, and housing developers.

    Key Success Factors

    • Balance technical knowledge with engaging and consultative communication
    • Add value to projects and secure sales with specialist advice
    • Create technical proposals and build/deliver engineering-focused CPD presentations
    • Solve on-site issues and support the development of new products, systems, and design methodology

    About You

    You may have worked in an engineering role but have a passion for a more customer-facing career or have experience in a Technical Sales role that hasn't quite struck the balance on the technical and design aspects you love. This role is the perfect blend of the two.

    Required Skills

    • Experience in Technical Sales, ideally in a similar industry
    • A proven interest in engineering and design with natural curiosity
    • A love of building long and lasting relationships with people at all levels
    • The ability to manage own time and priorities efficiently and proactively
    • A willingness to develop and grow skills
    • A Civil Engineering related degree or working towards a relevant professional qualification with good understanding of construction standards
    • A full driving license and ability to travel throughout the South of England, ideally living on patch
