Position

We are currently looking for an individual to join and support our Food Education & Campaigns teams.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity and is perfect for anyone who is purpose driven and has a knowledge and passion for the social impact space.

This person will support the Head of Campaigns and Food Education Manager on their work to increase access to delicious, nutritious and sustainable food, one meal at a time, so future generations can thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • To support the Food Education Manager on all education projects, with a particular focus on updating & growing the reach of Ministry of Food, both in the UK and internationally.
  • Working with the Food Education Manager and Ministry of Food partners to collate, analyse and report on all evaluation data from the Food education programmes to illustrate the reach and impact of the programmes.
  • To support with social media platforms, planning and content across programmes, liaising with the Jamie Oliver social media team and Ministry of Food partners when required.
  • To support the Head of Campaigns to drive forward key campaigning initiatives, including the Jamie Oliver Good School Food Awards
  • To support the team with any research tasks as required, including working with external research partners.
  • To help the team's with general administration and organisational tasks, including monitoring enquiries inboxes.
  • To attend internal meetings as required and to provide updates on your area of responsibility upon request.

Requirements:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present information concisely and persuasively to external audiences
  • Ability to promptly deliver on research tasks
  • Knowledge or experience of working with the media and social media
  • A solid grounding in IT skills, including Excel
  • A proactive selfstarter with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A can do attitude and passion for delivering consistent, high quality work
  • Ability to work across multiple projects at the same time, manage workload and prioritise effectively
DESIRABLE but not essential

  • Knowledge of and passion for the social impact space, with a particular focus on increasing access to nutritious, sustainable food through campaigns and programmes
  • Knowledge of the political system in the UK and experience working with policy
  • Understanding of evaluation and report writing
