08:30 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities:


As a Marketing Assistant you will be expected to drive profit and promote service and products through targeted and synchronised marketing campaigns.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to conducting competitor research, establishing the company's brand within our target audience, and efficiently directing time and efforts towards increasing customer conversions.


  • Conducting competitor research
  • Support the Marketing Manager and Buyer in completing agreed activities
  • Establish the company UK brand within our target audience
  • Liaising with the sales team about campaign objectives and deliverables
  • Assisting increasing customer conversions through marketing.
  • Creating marketing content for the company
  • Planning, creating, reviewing company content.
  • Event planning and management
  • Provide support throughout the company looking for opportunities to continuously promote the interests of the company.
  • Feeding KPI and statics back to the senior leadership team
  • Networking with suppliers and taking meetings

Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:


  • 2 years' experience within a marketing team is essential for the role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous experience working on ecommerce websites such as: Magento, Wordpress and Shopify is desirable.
  • Previous, demonstratable experience with social media platforms is essential
  • Previous demonstratable experience writing original marketing copy for the company website, blogs, product descriptions is essential for the role
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Own transport is essential due to location
