Description

Technical instructors assist the podiatrist by managing a previously identified and risk assessed caseload and providing basic foot care and foot hygiene advice to this caseload.

As a Technical Instructor you will provide treatment throughout Sandwell locations in trusts clinics, domiciliary setting, residential homes and day centres.

Technical Instructors will have a shared responsibility of stock management and day-to-day housekeeping of identified clinics in cooperation with the podiatrist.

The Foot Health Team here at SWBH are a proactive and progressive team determined to fulfil our aim of minmising the risk of lower limb complications that can lead to amputation.

Deliver basic routine foot care and self care advice to a risk assessed/catergorised caseload of patients

- provide treatment throughout Sandwell locations in trusts clinics, domiciliary setting, residential homes and day centres

Stock management
Supporting the foot Health support workers team
Assist in Specialist clinics such as nail surgery and the lab for insole manufacture
