Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

The role

We are looking for a commercially astute, ambitious, finance analyst who wants to step into a business that will challenge, enhance, refine, and build on their current skillset.

This role will report into the Head of Commercial Finance for the Impact Divisionand offer fantastic opportunity to work across four different brands within the Citation group.


As part of the team, you will be tasked with building dashboards and automating reporting that will inform through key commercial insights and KPIs, with the aim of improving business performance for the division and group.

Another key responsibility ofthis role is to support in the creation and maintenance of P&L rolling forecast models, along with analysis of P&L performance vs.

forecast and prior years. This work will underpin the decision-making process for management teams within the division.


To be suitable for this role you will need to utilize excellent excel data extraction, transformation, and modelling skills, and couple this with the ability to present/communicate key insights coherently to the senior leadership team, and Head of Commercialfinance.

Experience with SQL, Power BI/Power Query, Tableau, or similar programs is highly desirable.

You will also be required to work with a range of different teams across the group, using strong communication and people skills.

Your colleagues whose expertiseyou will rely on may not be familiar with commercial finance, so the ability to communicate with non-finance professionals will be a requirement.


  • Validating and distributing commercial and customer information within the business on a timely basis
  • Handling large amounts of data; extracting data from source, manipulating data to build reports / KPIs is a key requirement.
  • Analyzing the live business performance metrics against forecast intervals and presenting key insights coherently to the Head of Commercial Finance and other senior leadership team.
  • Analyzing P&L performance and identify and communicate key insights and drivers to senior leadership team
  • Optimize reporting/dashboards to highlight business performance
  • Ability to work across multiple business units, or previous experience within a group role desirable
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting, and planning will be an advantage

What we are looking for:

  • Advanced excel skills and excel modelling
  • Experience of using Tableau, Power Query/Power BI would be an advantage
  • Experience in a similar role desirable
  • A finance qualification advantageous (CIMA / ACA or ACCA)
  • A high level of accuracy and a strong eye for detail
  • Be able to demonstrate objectivity whilst ensuring financial/data fact is the defining measure
  • Confident in highlighting trends and using data to support decisions
  • Proactive with a desire to make a difference
  • Ability and desire to work in a fastpaced and everevolving environment
