All food and beverages for events at Heaton House Farm (wedding venue) are delivered by
Stable Yard Catering which is an innovative company, who are passionate about creating and delivering a fantastic food and beverage service.

We are seeking a
Catering Events Supervisor to join our team.


This is an exciting time to be joining the company which has enjoyed fantastic growth, building a brilliant reputation within the catering industry.

We provide the highest quality catering for a variety of events both onsite and at external venues, delivered with exceptional detail, and with the highest level of customer service.


Responsibilities as our Catering Events Supervisor will include:

  • Working alongside our Events Manager and Head Chef in managing all food operations for our events
  • On the day catering coordination/supervision ensuring each event is executed perfectly
  • Administration of preparing event documentation
  • Day to day office admin and client interaction associated with the role ensuring to respond in a timely and professional manner to enquiries
  • Assisting with the creation of the rotas for the waiting on team
  • Assisting with the recruiting, training, and development of the waiting on team
  • Working closely with other teams to assist with the delivery of all events
  • Supervise the team to ensure a fantastic guest experience and high level of customer service
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of Food & Wine tastings
  • Assisting with the diary management
  • Suggesting areas for development for the business by seeking out new business opportunities with the support of the Events Manager and Head Chef

Our Catering Events Supervisor will come equipped with the following qualities:

  • A passion for the hospitality industry
  • You should either have relevant events/catering industry experience or a degree in event or hospitality management
  • You will be passionate about food and providing a fantastic customer experience
  • You will have a keen eye for detail
  • You will be an experienced supervisor, confident in handling high pressure situations
  • You will be flexible and adaptable
  • You should be computer literate
  • You will be prepared to work weekends and evenings

The role is part time or full time and permanent based upon 40 hours per week. You will need to be flexible as you will work 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays.

Typical shifts include: 8.30am-5pm on non-event days or 12.30pm - 10pm on event days on a rotational basis.
