Marks Sattin are working with a leading international business in Birmingham who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant.

This is a new role which aims to to ensure the quality and reliability of financial reports for local and consolidated obligationsas well supporting the company's tax and other reporting requirements.

The role supports the local accounting operations in collaboration with the European shared service centre, with a strong focus on the stewardship of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of accurate and timely month end deliverables.

The financialaccountant will also be responsible for the statutory accounts preparation and provision of audit deliverables for the business.

Requirements:

Recently Part qualified or a newly qualified accountant with experience of preparation of financial statements and managing the external audit process
Experience of working in a fast paced environment and managing many priorities/deadlines simultaneously
Selfmotivated, independent, wellorganised, good attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with ability to confidently present and communicate to management
Effective team player who is also comfortable working on their own to meet the team objectives
