We're delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative public sector organisation in South Tyneside to appoint an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a friendly and welcomingteam, playing an active role in the provision of financial management services to the organisation, including overall co-ordination and control of monthly report production and annual revenue budgets.


Responsibilities:


  • Production of financial information on a monthly basis, including Board reports.
  • Ensure appropriate control systems are in place and are operating effectively to ensure robust financial reporting including:
  • reserves control spreadsheets/databases
- income and expenditure reconciliations
- audit trails for budget amendments, accruals and any other manual adjustments
- stock adjustments

  • Assist the Associate Director of Finance with the production, review and updating of the organisations budget manual
  • Management / supervision of 2 Finance Officers
The role offers hybrid working with 2 days spent in the office and the remaining 3 days at home.
