We have an exciting opportunity for Anaesthetically Trained Staff Nurses and ODP's.We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated team players to join our friendly Operating Theatre Department.
We are offering anaesthetic position with expectation to cover on-call rota.
We continuously support learning and development and encourage skill mixing.
We are currently an Elective Hub site consisting of 6 theatres, providing a 7-day service.
We deliver a range of surgical specialities within our 6 theatres including Breast, Gynae, General Surgery, ENT, Urology and Orthopaedics.
You will work as part of the Multi-professional theatre team to provide care during the delivery of clinical services.The role requires to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate own workload, organising equipment and resources as service demands, in accordance with policies and protocols.
Ensuring all documentation relating to patient care is maintained, accurate and legible.Continuation of professional development is expected through post registration study.
The role requires an ability to work on own initiative within the appropriate legal requirements, acts, policies, procedures and guidelines.
The role requires a level of autonomy to practice governed by the code of professional conduct.The theatre practitioner should have a knowledge of health and safety, infection control and moving and handling. The successful applicants must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the multi professional team.
