Salary:
£18,000-£20,000 per year + commission


Job responsibilities:

  • Finding tenants: This is one of the primary tasks of a leasing consultant. You will need to find potential tenants through various channels such as advertisements, online platforms, social media, rental websites, etc.
  • Sourcing rental properties: You will need to work with landlords or property management companies to find rental properties that can be leased. You should be familiar with the pricing of properties in the market and ensure that your tenants can afford the rent.
  • Arranging moveins: Once you have found suitable tenants, you will need to arrange their movein process. This includes processing lease agreements, collecting rent and deposits, and introducing tenants to the facilities of the property.
  • Handing over keys: You will need to ensure that tenants have a smooth movein process and hand over the keys to the property on the day of movein. You will also need to introduce tenants to how to use locks, appliances, and other facilities.
  • Managing utilities: You will need to ensure that utility bills are settled and paid for, and educate tenants on how to use water and electricity facilities.
  • Onsite assistance: If tenants need onsite assistance, such as dealing with appliance faults, power outages, property maintenance, etc., you will need to handle and resolve the issues promptly.
  • Addressing tenant concerns: If tenants have any concerns or complaints, you will need to address them promptly and provide appropriate solutions, such as arranging repairs or cleaning services.

Job requirements:

  • Proven experience in property management, including leasing, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Experience in managing and supervising staff and vendors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Experience in the UK real estate and leasing industry is preferred.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
