Our client is looking for a worker who can assist in directing and co-ordinating the activities of independent service providers (ISP's), employed drivers, agency drivers and the resources necessary for the safe, efficient, and economic movement of freight through the Circle Express distribution system.


WORKING HOURS
  • Monday to Friday
from 09:00-19:00


PAY - £30,000 a year


WORK TYPE - In person


Key Responsibilities:


  • Answering inbound telephone calls quickly and efficiently
  • Maintaining customer service levels at the highest standard by ensuring a rapid response to their requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the service and reporting to depot manager
  • Planning optimum utilisation of Independent Service Providers
  • Planning optimum utilisation of all company owned vehicles.
  • Ensuring that regulations regarding hours of work, the operational safety and efficiency of the company and ISP vehicles and other statutory regulations are complied with.
  • Ensuring mínimal waste of resources and securing value for money especially in the area of subcontractor haulage.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • GCSE level education to include English and Maths
  • IT Literate including MS Office
  • Customer Care Orientated
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy fast paced environment.
  • Aviation security essential.
  • Hard working and flexible.
  • Car Licence
  • Knowledge of Freight Forwarding/Logistics Business
  • Managing a team of up to 30 staff
  • Health and Safety awareness

Salary:
£30,000.00 per year
