What to expect


You'll be working in collaboration with 2 other Senior Case Management Advisors to drive the delivery of a range of Case Management activities to all functions based at Solihull.

You'll use your Employee Relations/Case Management knowledge to provide insight and lead on Case Management activities and projects.


This is an exciting time to join the team at Solihull, with this role providing the opportunity to work in partnership with local management and Trade Unions to support the delivery of critical business priorities such as MLA uplift and Project Panthera.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to coordinate and deliver HR Case Management support, focused on the resolution of cases, to support the business to meet strategic objectives (attendance; engagement) for multiple areas.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Case Management Advisors and line management to resolve complex cases.
  • Coach and develop a team of Case Management Advisors.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in the wider HR community and the business to ensure that service and process objectives are delivered efficiently, and escalated cases are resolved.
  • Work alongside the other Senior Case Management Advisors to manage particularly complex and/or sensitive cases. This may involve either managing these cases and/or coaching and supporting other Case Management Advisors.

What You'll need

  • Effective organisation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and support the Case Management Advisors and operational managers
  • Experience of stakeholder management and networking skills
  • Capable of working to process deadlines and able to prioritise workload
  • A good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas
  • An effective team player, actively develops and supports team members
  • Ideally will have employment law knowledge and experience e.g. Employment Tribunal preparation, TUPE delivery.
