Job Title:
Automotive Parts Coordinator

Location:
Basildon / Hybrid

Rate:
£20.71 ph Umbrella Co Basis - increasing to £28.21 ph Umbrella Co in week 13 of the contract under AWR (inside IR35)

Employment Type:
Contract (initially approx. 12 months) - Potential to be extended rolling contract

Hours:
Standard 37.5 Hours Per Week

Job Description:


Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) is a key contributing organisation within company's business as we transition from our historical product lineup of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) only, to a strong Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) powertrainoffering.


Skills Required:

  • Work the with stores team to manage tryout parts storage and shipping around the world to various machine tool suppliers.
  • Support shipping and customs clearance processes.
  • Manage documentation and work with all internal teams to understand part requirements.
  • Manage finance systems and ensure funding is in place for all parts.
  • Immerse within our dynamic and flexible team and contribute to the team as we work in a fastchanging environment.
  • Major responsibilities listed do not necessarily include a description of all essential and nonessential position responsibilities.

Skills Required Continued:

  • Highly proficient in MS Office including MS Project and Excel.
  • High level attention to detail, and methodical approach to documentation.
  • Project management.

Experience Required:

  • Strong experience in material, part or logistics management.

Education Required:

  • Bachelors degree or strong industry experience without degree.

Additional Information:
This role is INSIDE IR35

Some work from home, so needs to be a self-starter.
