Macphie Ltd are looking for a Cleaner to join the team at Glenbervie. We are looking for someone who has passion, determination and a keen eye for detail.

The Role
Below are some of the tasks required in this role:

To ensure designated areas of Factory and Office buildings are kept in a clean and tidy condition and in keeping with the highest standards of hygiene.
Inform Business Support when stocks of cleaning materials and toiletries need replenished, also when cleaning equipment requires attention.
Carry out cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, toilet cleaning, washing, floor mopping/cleaning.
Ensure that all the above tasks are carried out in compliance with written procedures and work instructions.
Carry out any other reasonable instruction in relation to cleaning as requested by your Manager.
Work safely at all times in accordance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures, practices and legislation.
At all times ensure that all internal and external data protection requirements are strictly adhered to within your area of responsibility and that any breach, either direct or observed is reported in line with the Employee Breach Notification Procedure.

The Person

Be an effective and reliable team member
Ability to act proactively and with limited direct supervision, while recognising when matters need to be referred to more senior managers.
Show an excellent attitude to work.
Comfortable working as part of a team or alone
Flexible attitude to work
Previous experience in a food environment strongly preferred
COSHH trained is an advantage
Ability to work in an organised and methodical way
