Repair and Service Advisor

Burgess Hill - Due to workplace location it is essential to drive and have your own transport. Plenty of free parking available for staff on site

Full time permanent role

Alternate shift patterns - week 1, Mon-Fri with Tue off and week Mon-Sun with Thu off

Salary £31600 plus very good company benefits plus annual sales related bonus

We are delighted to once again be working alongside our established and very reputable motor sector client as they seek to continue with their ongoing growth plans with the hire of an additional Repair and Service Advisor


The role:

Based in the control centre near to Burgess Hill, the role involves providing advice and quotations on vehicle repairs normally following roadside breakdowns


Duties and responsibilities include:


Taking calls from Roadside Technicians where they are attending customers and have been unable to provide an immediate roadside fix.

Advisors will evaluate repair options available to the customer.

Accept work and quote via online platforms

Provide repair quotations to customers for both parts and labour

Source vehicle parts to enable repair

Check mobile & workshop availability

Make bookings and monitor progress of repairs

Arrange replacement vehicles or other onward travel options for customers

Liaise with motoring organizations, warranty and fleet companies for authority to repair

Prepare invoices and accept payment for work carried out.

The role requires a sound automotive background, with a good knowledge of mechanical repairs and automotive parts.
