Senior Shipping Coordinator


We Staff have collaborated with a Global shipping company specialising in the transportation and packaging of Works of Arts and Collectables.

Their overseas offices and warehouses are located in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, and Milan.


Our client has experienced vast growth over recent years and are looking for a Junior Logistics Coordinator to join in the development and success of their growth.

Monday to Friday


9am to 5:30am

£30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.

Waltham Abbey

Responsibilities:


  • Manage export customs entries for all courier shipments exceeding £20k, including Temporary Admission (TA) shipments.
  • Coordinate and oversee quotes for GA, VIP London, and BCG (Christie's) vendors.
  • Supervise all airfreight and sea freight shipments, including liaison with interoffice teams, sending prealerts, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assist the Shipping Manager in overseeing and managing the Temporary Admission Facility, including inventory management of TA items and ensuring all required paperwork is on file for audits.
  • Handle shuttle, air, and sea freight orders once exported, including tracking and chasing Proof of Delivery (POD) as necessary.
  • Collect all interoffice import/delivery costs to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Shipping Manager to support departmental operations.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a senior shipping coordination role or similar position required.
  • Strong understanding of export customs processes and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using shipping software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with inventory management and audit preparation preferred.
  • Knowledge of airfreight and sea freight logistics is highly desirable.
