Research & Development Engineer

Preston | £50,000 - £60,000

Designing new products lines from scratch.

Our partner design and manufacture bespoke equipment for the renewable energy industry, significantly reducing emissions. This is a highly innovative business focused on developing equipment for the future.

Job Purpose:

This is a rare opportunity where you will focus on developing new products from scratch, managing the project from concept to completion, working closely with manufacturing including validation and test.

Degree qualified in Mechanical ort Chemical Engineering or equivalent, HND minimum.
Experience developing products from concept, starting with a blank piece of paper.
Proficient with SolidWorks (Inventor, Pro E etc) doing detailed design.
Experience doing engineering calculations.
A genuine passion for engineering. Hobbies within this such as stripping down engines and building up cars.
Excellent communication skills.
