Brooklands is based in Nottingham and has been trading for 8 years.
The company is rapidly expanding and specialises in industrial cleaning and facilities support services, for national construction companies, councils, universities, schools, businesses, and facilities management companies throughout the midlands and across the UK.
Brooklands is not your average service provider
No two days are the same at Brooklands, one day the company may be deep cleaning AC17 planes for the RAF, hanging off ropes cleaning tall buildings, steam cleaning the streets whilst everybody is sleeping or even attending call outs for large spillages and closing roads off
Team leader:
- The role requires confident leadership skills, with the necessity to closely manage the technician's standards of work
- Performance managing the technicians, assessing the work they have produced and standards being met
- As the team leader you will lead by example, with impeccable standards of technical ability and attention to detail
- Demonstrating adaptability and methodical working practices, organised, and able to think ahead and solve problems.
- Working to strict protocols and SOPs, ensuring best practice for H&S considerations, experience with auditing
- Represent Brooklands group with professionalism, within all settings on site and with the team
- Have an unwavering commitment to achieving outstanding results
- Work with efficiency and prioritise tasks, working within times frames
- Are physically fit enough and able to work through weather conditions, early mornings and varied hours
Key responsibilities
- Deliver services/work to strict protocols, conforming to specific methods of work while completing all documentation concisely
- Ensuring the completion of job cards/works schedule documentation, as required with accurate information
- Work closely with management team to make improvements and promote exceptional working standards.
- Proactive communication, with manager and site personal
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures, understanding COSHH ensuring company Rules/Procedures are always adhered to without exception.

Key requirements
- CSCS CARD (or are willing to arrange for this independently prior to / on joining)
- A valid driving licence 'clean is preferred'.
- Selfmotivated and hardworking when working alone and working with team
- An ability to follow methods of work, take instruction and guidance, and a willingness to train and develop skills
The practical elements of the role
The role will involve the undertaking pressure washing, brick cleaning, window cleaning and gutter cleaning.
Offering specialist services including roof cleaning, steam cleaning to restore old buildings and removing graffiti for which training will be given.
The role will require you to be on the road, working practically and checking on the technicians.Notes
This role is physically demanding and requires excellent attention to detail. You will be required to work with flexibility, and travel with potential overnight stays if required.
Potentially visiting several different sites each week and will meet lots of new people so no two days will be the same.
You will work independently predominantly, but on occasion working as part of a team, requiring self-management and the ability to communicate efficiently.
