Job brief

We are currently hiring an experienced Plumber who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the setup and maintenance of plumbing infrastructure on a social housing contract in Worcester and surrounding areas.

This includes the installation of plumbing pipes in buildings, troubleshooting plumbing problems, and performing repairs on appliances.

Given the risks involved in this role, we require individuals who prioritize safety and adhere to precautionary measures.

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining and repairing pipe including joins, valves, drains and fixtures in all types of structures.
Responding to maintenance call outs in a professional and resonsible manner.
Represent Dutton Construction as one of our maintenance contractors.
Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, broken drainage lines and so on.
Must have a valid UK driving license.
Must have own tools such as hand tools, drills etc.

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as an plumber.
Must have a minimum 1 years experience domestic boiler breakdowns/fault finding.
Experience in industrial and/or commercial plunmbing systems would be good.
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and use and understand plumbing drawings and blueprints.
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving ability.
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight if needed.
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as a plumber.
Valid license to practice profession.

Job Types:

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
£180.00-£200.00 per day
