  • Assist line managers in handling employee relations cases such as disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to devise strategies for enhancing employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction at a team level.
  • Manage escalated queries from our people administrator and coordinate responses from our People Queries inbox.
  • Update manager toolbox kits and provide support for sickness absence cases and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Oversee the reasonable adjustments framework and advise on implementation.
  • Contribute to enhancing the employee experience through onboarding processes, recognition programs, and career development initiatives.
  • Optimize processes within the people team, focusing on automation for improved efficiency.
  • Collect qualitative data on employee experience and analyse people data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and advise on changes to People Policies, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Provide People policy guidance to the wider business and support senior team members in change projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Office Sponsorship license, manage certificates of sponsorship, and oversee righttowork checks.
  • Assist in compiling consultant contracts and undertake IR35 due diligence.

About you:

  • Experience coaching managers through Employee Relation tasks (PIPs and performance management, feedback conversations, maternity/paternity/shared parental and adoption leave, flexible working requests)
  • Demonstrable examples of improving processes and ways of working, ideally through the use of automation
  • Uptodate knowledge of UK employment law legislation
  • Experience supporting with complex employee relation cases
  • Understanding the need to take a commercial approach
  • A driving license is desirable as the role will involve occasional travel to our other Bidwells offices, but those without will be considered.

What's in it for you?

Competitive Salary:
We recognise and reward talent with generous salary and group bonus scheme
