(FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 1 MONTH in Portsmouth area)_

Lynx UK Ltd have opportunities to join our telecoms engineering services team and learn telecoms from the ground up.

As an
offsite based role with significant working time spent on client sites in the Portsmouth area, you will need to be able to follow instructions, be a good communicator and a team player.

The role involves working in a team of telecoms engineers performing deinstallation of telecoms equipment, lifting and carrying of telecoms stock and movement of large telecoms racks using lifting aids.

Physical strength and ability to safely handle stock items, some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment.

Working at customer premises initially in Portsmouth area but potential nationwide Monday to Friday, with overnight stays required, which will all be booked and paid for.

You must hold a full UK manual driving licence.

Main responsibilities but not limited to:_

Site Equipment De-installations

Unloading of equipment from site vans
Physical deinstallation of telecoms equipment.
Recovery of redundant cable systems
Deinstallation of infrastructure such as Unistrut, cable tray and basket.
Moving equipment to staging area / loading bays.
Loading equipment onto vans / lorries

Deliveries & Collections Assist with -

Delivery of equipment & consumables to work site
Delivery of equipment to clients' sites
Collect equipment from clients' sites
Rack collections
Delivery of equipment to recycle centres
Movement of equipment to Lynx warehouses

Detailing Assets

Record serial numbers of stock items.
Assist with stock takes and inventory counting
Prepare stock for recycling
Prepare stock for transport to warehouse
Labelling stock items

Any other task required by the role as may arise from time to time.

If the contract is extended - this role will require working away from Home, Monday to Friday._

Hours are 8:00 to 17:00

£ £13.00 Per hour depending of experience_
