1-1 Teaching Assistant
A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School located in South Gloucestershire. This school focuses on encouraging lifelong learning, promoting creativity, and nurturing all students' developing passions. Most importantly, they ensure the children's best interests are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role:
- Commences on 15th April 202
- Working with children on a 1:1 basis.
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
- Establishing secure and caring relationships.
- Motivating, clarifying instructions, and encouraging independent learning.
- May include general school duties such as preparing resources, setting up learning spaces, and supervising breaks and lunchtimes.
- Is fulltime, Monday to Friday, on a termly rolling basis.
- Have an understanding of inclusion and making the curriculum accessible.
- Be able to communicate effectively with both children and staff.
- Have experience working with children in a voluntary or paid capacity.
- Be resilient and able to manage personal wellbeing in a demanding environment.
- Have the ability to form and maintain appropriate, positive relationships and boundaries with students.

£90.00-£105.00 per day
