Description

• Saturday/Sunday: Contracted to 30 x 11 hour shifts per year
• Includes Bank Holidays as and when required

To assist the chefs in preparing and serving food to a consistent high standard, whilst working in accordance with food hygiene regulations, company policy and HACCAP control and to provide a friendly and efficient service to students, guests and staff.

• Provide help and support with meals in line with all food safety policies and legislation
• Preparation of vegetables/salads/packed lunches
• Provide help and support to the chef in preparation and cooking whilst recording temperatures in the appropriate logs
• Serve during meal times ensuing temperatures are kept to legal requirements
• Ensure all areas are clean and tidy after services, including washing of dining room tables, hot plate, dishwasher, pan wash etc.
• Leftover food to be labelled and stored in correct manner
• Complete daily cleaning schedule
• Drain down dishwasher and clean out ready for next service
• Ensure kitchen is completely clean and tidy and floors swept and mopped ready to start next service

• Monday to Friday

• Day shift

• Darlington, Durham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Catering: 1 year (preferred)
