HGV Class 2 Driver


Location:
Curdridge, Southampton, SO32 2DA


Salary:
£12.50 an hour plus overtime


Job type:
Full Time Permanent


Yard Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 16.30 pm

The Role:

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HGV Driver to join our busy team.

We pride ourselves on providing high quality goods at competitive prices and we supply to both the Trade & Retail markets.


Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering landscape materials to our customers and landscape teams.


  • Manual handling

  • Lifting and moving stock / Organising stock / Picking orders as and when required
  • Keeping the yard and surrounding site clean and tidy.


  • Additional Duties

  • Loading/unloading of deliveries using a forklift

Essential:


  • Experience working in a builder's merchants
  • HGV Class 2 driving licence
  • CPC qualification
  • Multi drop experience
  • HIAB experience.

Desirable:


  • Experience using a Loading Shovel
  • Landscape hard goods & aggregates knowledge
  • Forklift licence
