Teaching Assistant

Salary:
Scale 3 point 5 actual pro rata £17,655 to £17,951

Hours: 32.5hrs per week, MONDAY -FRIDAYS : 8.15 AM TO 3.15 PM (negotiable at interview), Term time only. (Flexibility around the start and finish time will be required).

Contract:
Permanent, term time

Have you an interest and awareness of the requirements of children with special needs?

We have 156, 3- to 4-year-old children on roll and 24 2-year-olds.

We have a vacancy for a teaching assistant to work within a large team at Reddish Vale Nursery School.

This will be an exciting opportunity for practitioners to support young children in their development of their personal skills including toileting and maintaining hygiene standards.

The role will involve:
- organisation and supervising appropriate Early Years Foundation Stage activities indoors and outdoors

Supporting children within a small group or on an individual basis or on a withdrawal basis.
To provide support for children with physical needs e.g. assisting with moving around the Nursery, assistance with feeding, assistance with changing, assisting with safe use of Nursery equipment.
To maintain a high quality environment
