Do you have experience in working in care settings? Are you committed to supporting adults towards their goals and aspirations? Do you have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, able to produce complex reports, and work autonomously within a dynamic team?

If so, an exciting opportunity to work with the East Sussex Shared Lives and Supported Accommodation team has arisen.


The Supported Accommodation Team provides placements for adults with care & support needs with a landlord who is registered with the service.

Your role would be assessing and matching clients to placements and supporting both the client and the provider in the placement.

You will have a key role in support planning which enables people to be as independent as possible whilst developing essential life skills.

You will also supervise and support providers to deliver a quality service within current Housing legislation and guidance.

The role involves:

direct work with clients and providers; assuring the quality of the providers; writing and presenting complex assessments at independent panels, undertaking comprehensive need and risk assessments; supporting providers' compliance & continuous improvement.


The post will be based in Eastbourne, and you will be expected to travel across the county and autonomously manage a complex caseload.

Effective negotiation skills are essential as well as being able to organise and prioritise your own work in line with the demands of the service.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
