Teaching Assistant


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching professional to join a friendly team in a primary school in Woolwich, Greenwich.

We require a strong teaching assistant who can work alongside teachers, and children, to support teaching and learning inthe classroom.


Teaching Assistant - The Primary School:
This mainstream two-form entry primary school is located in the London Borough of Greenwich. Free parking is available and there is fantastic transport links to the school.


As a Teaching Assistant, you must have:

  • Experience of working with children with behavioural difficulties
  • Experience working 1:1
  • An initiative to think on your feet
  • Be committed to promoting high standards in learning
  • A clear DBS

Main Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Working 1:1 with a child who is challenging
  • Working alongside the Class Teacher
  • Liaising with the school SENCO
  • Helping to support children with SEN
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated

Teaching Assistant - Additional information:


  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 8:30am3:45pm
- £80-£90 per day

  • Long term / permanent contract
  • Primary School in Greenwich
