Lead, manage and develop three core transactional finance teams; Financial Operations, Credit Control and Accounts Payable

You will oversee the development of high performing teams, providing a reliably good service to colleagues across the business and external customers
Ensure that the business always has a strong financial control environment with key areas for improvement recognised and plans in place for implementation
Establish operational metrics across all three teams and motivate the team to achieve these targets
Demonstrate a curious and proactive attitude to look at ways in which our finance processes and procedures can be continuously improved
Play your part within the Finance Leadership Team to ensure that the benefits of one finance team are rolemodelled and in place across your teams
Coach colleagues to develop their finance skillsets, encourage initiative in process improvement and increase focus on client delivery.

Your experience

Proven experience of leading teams in transactional finance functions.
Knowledge of what great finance service looks like and experience in delivering this.
Experience of negotiating and building relationships with external stakeholders.
Experience of working in a fastpaced environment in a complex organisation and responding to changing priorities.
Welldeveloped relationship building experience
Experience of challenging and supporting others to drive improvements in performance to meet targets
Experience of using finance systems and working with colleagues to make improvements in process and procedure
