East Suffolk Council is an exciting place to work and a great place to make a real difference to people's lives, delivering vital services to a quarter of a million people across East Suffolk.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the East Suffolk Council's Housing Information and Governance team as a
Housing Information Officer.

Your role:

The Housing sector is going through a period of change, driven by emerging legislation and regulation intended to assure safe and decent homes for tenants and better services from landlords.

These changes require improvements to the way we store, share, analyse and use information to make operational and strategic decisions in our Housing Service.

As part of our response, we are expanding our Housing Information team to provide the necessary skills and capacity required to deliver better services.

In this role you will lead on the management and analysis of data in the Housing ICT systems so the required data is available for operational delivery, as well as maintaining the computer systems to assure their performance and availability to Users in the Council.

We use multiple 'line of business' computer systems for the management of tenancies, rental income, property repairs and maintenance and servicing of council owned housing stock and property leased from the private sector.

You will support day-to-day service delivery as well as improvement projects.

Our improvement plans include the implementation of new ICT systems, as required to improve our tenant's experience to Tenants and the efficiency and performance of Housing services and back-office functions.
