An excellent opportunity to develop your career with one of the UK's leading veterinary pharmaceutical businesses. An exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent Product Manager to join the team. This role will be to build and maintain relationshipswith agencies, press, key customers and industry opinion leaders.


Responsibilities:


  • To propose and implement marketing activity (inline with Company strategy and Group policies) for the product portfolio and company brand.
  • Propose and implement marketing plans for the products allocated, in order to develop net sales and margin.
  • Ensure products are marketed in a way which is compatible with the global aims and policies of the Company.
  • Implements performance analysis and reporting tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing plans, monitors actions and proposes improvement plans.
  • Develops, manages and disseminates sales forecasts for allocated products that are compliant with the annual sales objectives. Manages production forecasts.
  • Responsible for identifying trends and monitoring, commenting upon and reacting to all available market data and market intelligence relevant to the allocated product portfolio.

About You:


  • Marketing principles/ marketing qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Essential
  • Technical product knowledge
  • Exposure to sales environment
  • Ideally knowledge of Key Account management
  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of Companion Animal veterinary industry
  • Highly Desirable
  • Be able to develop sales forecasts
- knowledgeable with budget control

  • Be able to develop and implement marketing plans
