Join our passionate team of 5 to help us achieve our mission and improve the wellbeing of children during challenging times.

With a focus on helping to secure new corporate support, the Fundraising Officer will help to
recruit and retain support from non-corporate donors and also help with the development and implementation of key fundraising tools/processes.


We've just transferred to
Salesforce as our new CRM - the Fundraising Officer will be instrumental in setting up, shaping and managing how we use this for our fundraising database.


Experience of working with CRM databases is essential.

Key tasks will include:

  • Research new corporate contacts and develop a prospect pipeline for approaching
  • Transfer and set up all existing company data on Salesforce
  • Coordinate supporting activities and reporting schedules for corporate partnership agreements, to ensure timelines and commitments for all parties are being upheld.
  • Manage all donor records and reporting using Salesforce database
  • Manage monthly donation reports and quarterly budget reports
  • Assist with the initial contact to companies
  • Work with the Leadership team to prepare for selected meetings/pitches and attend in a supporting capacity
  • Spot potential for leveraging relationships e.g. event participation to maximise income from partnerships
  • Monitor supporter journeys across all income streams (Corporate, Trusts and Foundations, Individuals, Event Participants), which includes thanking and stewardship activities
  • Support with the recruitment and retention of volunteers, including the management of volunteers at events, such as the Drapers Awards
  • Alongside the wider team deliver fundraising targets at all thirdparty events
  • Work with the marketing manager to develop fundraising tools across all channels, including digital to increase both income and brand awareness
  • Support with setting up our Gift Aid claim process

What You Bring:


  • Experience of excellent relationship management
  • Experience of working with CRM databases
  • Confidence working with data and using analytics to create meaningful reports
  • Basic understanding and experience of corporate fundraising focus areas i.e. commercial, sponsorship, and COTY
  • Evidence of creative thinking to find new or innovative solutions to opportunities and challenges
  • Most importantly, you will be a good communicator who is adaptable and works collaboratively within a small team

  • Experience of working within the charity / fundraising sector
