Our client is looking for an individual with experience in Export Sales Administration who would like a new challenge.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to work as part of team and help us deliver their business strategy by providing excellent customer service and by being a great ambassador for their brands.
Export Sales Administrator Responsibilities:
You will support the International Sales team by processing their customer purchase orders and by providing clear communication to them as to the status of their orders on a daily basis, as well as supporting the rest of the Sales Administration team.
- Processing customer purchases orders in our SAP Business One system and supplying the customer with an order confirmation, feeding back on any issues if necessary.
- If Proforma customer, chase either the customer or Export Account Manager for payment.
- Arranging delivery of the customers purchase orders once they're packed by our warehouse, either by using various logistics portals or by working with their Logistics team.
- Proactively communicate with customers and Export Sales Managers on their order status'.
- Produce commercial invoices/shipping paperwork for customers & hauliers where required.
- Follow up on any customer enquiries regarding stock availability.
- Assist with populating data to be able to produce an OTIF report for the business.
- Arranging sample orders for internal members of staff and customers where required.
- Provide support to the rest of the Sales Administration team and cover holidays where possible.
- Other ad hoc activities to support the team and drive processes forward.
Export Sales Administrator Requirements:
- Experience in processing customer purchase orders in an order processing system (ideally SAP Business One). If you haven't worked with SAP, we will provide training.
- Experience in completing export paperwork e.g., documents for the Middle East.
- Experience in providing customer service to customers in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily in Excel & Outlook.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- Analytical and detail orientated.
- Team player.
