Description

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Tewkesbury has an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Machine Operative. After a basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision in producing parts in accordance with the Company's Health And Safety and Quality procedures.

Hourly Rate

:

£16.64 (£12.80 with 30% shift premium)


Shift Pattern:
Sunday: 8:30pm - 6:30am

Monday to Thursday: 11pm-6:30am

  • Locate materials and tooling
  • Operate limited number of machines
  • Correct usage of guards and safety switches for machinery
  • Understanding of materials for product manufacture
  • Identification and use of correct parts/machine for production
  • Correct use of sprays/solvents/cleaning agents as applicable
  • Correct manual handling of tools and moulds
  • Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork
  • After basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Flexible, to be transferred to other areas of production
  • Carry out all work activities in accordance with HSE requirements
  • Keep work area(s) in compliance with company housekeeping standards

Required Experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is favorable

  • Good understanding of foreign object defects, cause and rectification
  • Good coordination skills
  • Ability to understand and complete paperwork
