The Vacancy
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the Management Accountant will assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts and the annual budgets.
They will provide financial information to internal and external stakeholdersand work closely with the Executive Leadership Team. They will support the Senior Management Accountant with improving controls and processes across the business. The Management Accountant may assist with Finance related projects and ad hoc requests.About you
You will have experience in producing management accounts reports and analysing variances.
You will be comfortable presenting findings and recommendations written and verbally.
You will have a high attention to detail.
You will have a good understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts.
You will be organised and quick to prioritise your work as needed.
You will have good communication skills and be able to naturally build positive relationships.
You will be competent in identifying better and smarter ways of doing things, and question the value in tasks you are set.
Skills & Qualifications to be successfulYou will be at least half way through a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
Four years' experience working in a Finance role.
You will have strong commercial acumen.
You must be comfortable with IT solutions, particularly excel.
What we offer
Monday to Friday 35 hours per week with the option to flex around 09:00-17:00 and all flexible working options considered.
Work from home up to 3 days per week.Minimum of 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option of buying an additional 5 days and carrying over.
