Capel Machinery Sales Ltd is a construction machinery main dealer for XCMG UK, covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, South Wiltshire, and the Isle of White.

Role Description

This is a full-time Heavy Plant Engineer role for Capel Machinery Sales Ltd located in the Salisbury area (multiple positions avaliable across our territory).

As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance and repair for construction machinery. The role is partly remote on customers sites and part workshop based PDI new machinery. Factory product training will be provided both UK and aboard if you so wish.


Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and maintaining construction machinery in the workshop or in the field
• A mechanical or plant engineering background
• A strong troubleshooting and problemsolving ability
• A valid driving license is essential
• The ability to work and communicate effectively within a team
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Effective prioritization skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• A willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the industry
• Willingness to undertake manafacturer training both in the UK and possibly Germany.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
