The team provides a dedicated investment consultancy to investors across industrial, offices, retail and alternative markets, advising on property acquisitions and disposals.

The team is passionate about providing our clients with creative but practical solutions and options, working to create long-term, enduring relationships which will generate added value for our clients.

The Capital Markets team are dynamic and have a well-established presence in the North West and National Investment Market.

The team have advised on a number of the largest and highest profile transactions over the past decade, working across several sectors with a focus on industrial and office asset classes.

The North West team is fully integrated with the Gerald Eve National Capital Markets business.


This is a newly created role to support a highly successfully and market leading team, who specialise in commercial property transactions.

This is a varied role where you will support the team in assisting across all aspects of Capital Markets, culminating in the delivery of successful property transactions.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in real estate, who can bring a strong commercial awareness and drive to succeed.

You will have a degree ideally gained within business studies or economics, bring an analytical mindset and confidence to liaise with clients.

Main responsibilities

The role will involve working across the team assisting in all aspects of Capital Markets including:

  • Supporting/ working on investment property acquisition and disposal instructions
  • Undertaking extensive property due diligence including financial analysis and property inspections
  • Compiling availability and transaction schedules to track market activity
  • Market research and maintaining comparable databases
  • Managing and assisting in the relationship with key clients, inclusive of providing clear and concise reports and advice
  • Tracking key investment requirements
About you

  • IT skills, including strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel competencies
  • Degree educated: we are ideally looking for someone who has studied business studies, economics or similar
  • At least 23 years' experience poststudies (not necessarily property related)
  • Strong mathematics skills
  • Organised, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with an eye for detail
  • A commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships
  • Flexible and selfmotivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn with and develop the team
  • Commercial awareness
