About Our Client:

My client is a leading supplier for the food industry. With over 30 years of expertise and being part of the top 5 UK supplier of quality ingredients.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for:

Logging customer orders
Dispatching product samples
Processing customer orders, ensuring costs, quantities and timescales are accurate
Raising purchase orders, checking against contracts and discussing any discrepancies with customers
Booking deliveries
Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport providers as required
Processing order amendments accurately and in line with agreed timescales
Logging, investigating and resolving order queries
Providing admin support to Account Managers within the Sales team
As part of the team, answering inbound telephone calls

The Successful Applicant:

The succesful Customer Service Advisor will bring:

Admin experience, ideally gained in a customer service environment
Attention to detail and accuracy with costs and data entry
Strong customer focus
IT literacy, including Excel, Word and Outlook
Friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to plan own workload to meet multiple deadlines
Great team player who enjoys working with others
An understanding of food safety or willingness to learn
