Rotational Midwife
Maternity Assessment Centre Working within Maternity Assessment Centre delivering excellent care using the BSOTS to ensure women are appropriately triaged and treated when attending with pregnancy related complications or concerns Our Maternity Assessment Centre runs 24 hours a day 365 days of the year High risk antenatal/intrapartum/postnatal care Working on our consultant led labour ward or on our antenatal / postnatal ward as part of a high functioning multidisciplinary team On our labour ward we have exceptional rates of one-to-one care in labour and this is something we are extremely proud of Our AN/PN ward team offer an excellent service delivering the Induction of Labour pathway Elective LSCS pathway with enhanced recovery and our Transitional Care pathway We are proud to support our midwives in developing these services and embracing quality improvement opportunities Community midwifery / low risk birth Working across our community footprint offering care to women and families close to home This role involves on call workingand supporting women who choose t o birth at home or in a birth centre setting you will needto be confident in recognising any deviationsand referringto other membersofthe multidisciplinaryteamwhen required ,

- To work collaborativelywithother professionalsand agenciesaspartofamultidisciplinary/multi-agencyteam.
- Autonomouscarerforwomentheirpartnersandfamilieswithinnormalmidwiferytakestheleadinprovidingexpertknowledgeandevidencebasedopinionswithinthissphereactingascalclinicalrolemodel.
