The Role:

I am looking for a compassionate teaching assistant to join our team and support children with special needs.

As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

Work with students individually or in small groups to support their learning and development.
Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons and activities that meet the needs of students with special needs.
Monitor and record student progress, and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Communicate with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress.
Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with special needs, either in a professional or personal capacity.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents.
Patience, compassion, and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for all students.
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one.
