An opportunity has become available for a Technical Liaison Officer to join the Asset Management and Safety Team.


To succeed in the role, you will need to have experience in a housing role with an understanding of social housing.

You will be expected to have a clean driving licence and use of a personal vehicle for which you will claim mileage.

You must have good IT skills to be able to input and extract data.

You will have excellent communication skills to tackle difficult issues and resolve disputes, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have organisational skills with the ability to work without close supervision.


You will be responsible for:


  • Providing information to customers that are on planned works program to replace kitchens, bathrooms, windows, or any other works that Citizen undertake.
  • Resolving customer enquiries relating to any proposed works.
  • Resolving complaints and disputes between customers and contractors.
  • Consulting with Leaseholders regarding any works including Section 20 consultations and major works service charges.
  • Arranging access to customers homes to ensure the progress of planned works programs.
  • Gaining access to properties where this is an issue, e.g. customers not home for appointments.
  • Working with contractors to provide customer information and answer queries.
