Streetscene Service are seeking to appoint a suitable officer to lead the waste operations service with drive and passion.


The post is responsible for leading a team of supervisors to deliver an efficient waste collection service that achieves the aims of Hull City Council's waste collection policy and waste management strategy.

It will ensure the Council's statutory duty as a Waste Collection Authority is discharged and compliance with European and National legislation is achieved.


The post takes the strategic lead for specific themes of work across the service including but not restricted to Human Resources, Health & Safety, Fleet and Equipment, Customer Service, Collection Arrangements, Performance Management, Recycling and Resource Utilisation.
