Job Role
Working with us at GUK, we value you more than just a CCTV operator.

You will be responsible for providing safety to the public with CCTV operation, patrols, creating access passes and using your experience of who can gain access.

Your flexibility and experience will create a rapport with our high-end clients to deliver excellence.

The role is critical to ensure our operational day-to-day frontline services work like clockwork.

A typical day for someone who is self-motivated could include access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book.

You will then finish every shift with a good thorough handover.

You are an individual who communicates well, has a strong sense for reliability and understands the importance of being smartly presented in uniform at all times.

Also, you would need to be proactive and always willing to learn.

You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the continued success of GUK.

Daily DutiesManaging the Control Room and CCTV operation including all files and documentation within the control room to meet all data protection requirements, reporting to line managers and the Data Controller.-This position will require regular review and inspection of all internal control room and site operations such as key control and the signing in and out of all equipment.-Ensure staff welfare and arrange necessary training both internally and externally as required.-Actively maintaining a safe, helpful, and secure environment for staff, customers, visitors and the Centre's tenants-Effective monitoring and defect reporting across the site following set escalation process regarding life safety matters and reporting to the Operations Support Manager on all defects/matters.-Effective communication is essential to this role and will be required to report to the Operations Manager on site and General Manager for GUK

Must Have:

Proof of right to work-Valid SIA licence (CCTV and Door Supervisor)-5 Year employment history Minimum 2 years CCTV experience Shopping Centre experience
Ideally you will have developed these Skills:Customer services-Able to communicate in English at a good level, both written and oral communication-Basic report writing and IT skills-Dealing with difficult people-Teamwork-Challenging the status quo-Self-motivated
