Exciting new opportunity for a Quality Advisor to join an oil and gas wells company on a permanent staff basis at their office in Aberdeen.

Hybrid working also available


As the Quality Advisor, you will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

  • Working in close liaison with HSE Advisor and building effective relationships internally and externally that support the successful management of the Management System.
  • Providing quality related support and advice to various departments, identifying actions required or suggestions for improvement.
  • Participating and supporting internal and external quality audits and ensuring timely close out of audit findings
  • Developing, and implementing the annual Compliance Plan.
  • Overseeing nonconformance and proposed improvement process, assisting with root cause investigation when required. Training and supporting departments with NCR system, case handling, etc.
  • Making any required amendments in regional quality control plans.
  • Having a robust understanding of the Document Management system, to be able to provide guidance and training to Employees and Line Managers.
  • Supporting the annual Management Review process. Responsible for the preparation of documentation and coordinating with other departments to ensure their sections are completed. Collating data and provide analysis of trends. Assisting departments with the collation of data from the ERP system.
  • Supporting the company's management of change and risk management processes
  • Providing assistance with the review, approval, and quality control of vendors and suppliers
  • Assisting with the compilation of quality related information for tender documentation and supplier schemes

Required Experience/Qualifications:


  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • A strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and some knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO1400
  • Internal / external audit training and experience.
  • A growth mindset with an eye for improvement and simplification.
  • Experience from an international organisation is preferable.
