    Job Title: Tax Manager

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Manager to lead our Direct Tax function. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing tax compliance, reporting, advisory services, and risk management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead monthly and quarterly tax reporting, focusing on deferred tax, tax journals, and tax accounting.
    • Ensure timely and accurate corporate tax compliance, managing statutory filings and tax audits.
    • Provide expert advice on UK corporate tax matters, including business structuring and transactions.
    • Drive tax risk management initiatives and implement tax planning strategies aligned with commercial goals.
    • Monitor and advise on changes in UK tax legislation, ensuring the business remains compliant and informed.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and business units to support planning and decision-making.
    • Develop and mentor two Direct Tax Accountants.

    Requirements:

    • Fully qualified ATT, ACA, or CTA (or equivalent).
    • Strong knowledge of UK Corporation Tax with hands-on compliance and advisory experience.
    • Background in large multinationals or financial services preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax issues.
    • Advanced Excel and Word skills; confident working with data and financial systems.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
