Description

The primary purpose of the role is to coordinate all teams within the business to ensure quality products which are dispatched on time.

We are looking for an accomplished and Coordinator who is as comfortable with admin as they are customer service. Thisrole although is not a team lead, is possibly the most important at the branch.

The whole plant cannot operate without the perfect Supply Chain Coordinator and everything goes through them before it reaches the customer.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Monitor the status of customer orders and act accordingly to maintain on time deliveries
  • To analyse the sales orders and creating work orders via the MRP system
  • Talk to key intercompany suppliers located in Europe & Globally
  • Raising purchase orders for long leadtime items supplied by our intercompany suppliers
  • Ensure Production Team Leader understand relevant priorities
  • Review material position and drive supplychain to deliver in line with customer requirements
  • Maintain forecast to keep stock levels as low as possible
  • Take proactive steps to reduce inventory
  • Works closely with internal teams such as Customer Services, Quality, Production & Despatch
  • Understanding MRP system
  • QAD (Beneficial)

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • Knowledge and experience of MRP. Strong ERP systems knowledge
  • Data extraction, analysis, and administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Collaborative, teamplayer, able to interact effectively regionally and globally
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse a high volume of data and produce recommendations
  • Excellent attention to detail
